The Egyptologist Journal

This journal is reminiscent of a budding Egyptologist’s love for Ancient Egypt and seeks to inspire the same passion and creativity in its new owner.

The cover was salvaged from a Dutch version of Victoria Holt’s “The Curse of the Kings” romance (published in 1973). In place of the original pages, there are 5 signatures of 9 papers, each a different size, texture and thickness. All images used, related to Egypt, were repurposed from textbooks and magazines. The labels associated with the artefacts pictured in this journal are taken from the aforementioned sources.
